- High blood pressure.
- Heart disease.
- Chest pain.
- Irregular heart beat.
1. Create a schedule.
"In times of great stress or adversity, it's always best to keep busy, to plow your anger and your energy into something positive." - Lee IacoccaAnd that's the cool thing about actively doing something and staying focused. It can help to cut down stress a whole lot If you stick to it. Normally, when you don't have a schedule, your mind is all over the place. Because you don't know what you're going to be doing next, and It feels like you're trying to get everything done all at once! If you feel stressed out by this behavior, I'd advise you to create a new schedule. Put it in your calendar, assign each task with a time and stick to it. You won't believe how much this has helped me, and I'm sure It can help you too.
2. Stop thinking so much.
"If you spend too much time thinking about a thing, you'll never get it done." - Bruce LeeNot only Is this true, but thinking too much can influence a lot of unnecessary stress. Because when you're creating all sorts of scenarios in your head and over thinking things, you start to stress over it. Action Is better than inaction. So make it a habit to think less about whatever it is on your mind, and act on it instead. This'll be tough at first If you're not used to it, but with practice you'll notice your stress levels will drop considerably! You've got to get out of your own head.
3. Up your organizational skills.
"Organizing is what you do before you do something, so that when you do it, it is not all mixed up." - A. A. MilneAnd you probably know as well as I do that when everything is misplaced, It's easy to stress out over it. It's easy to start panicking, and over thinking, and wind yourself up in the process. Getting organized and making a habit out of it Is a simple thing to do, yet it has a huge impact on your mental state. Get rid of all that clutter, junk, and anything else that's lying around, then get rid of it or put it in its rightful place. At least that way you won't be distracted by it and overwhelmed by the amount of crap you've got to clear up.
4. Listen to your favorite music.
One scientific fact about music is it gives you just as much pleasure as eating food, or even sex. That's because when you're listening to music it releases dopamine through out your body. And dopamine makes you feel good. So It's not surprise listening to music can cut your stress in half, or even more than that! Keep a pair of headphones or speakers nearby, because listening to music is really that helpful to maintain a healthy mental state.5. Have some "fun" time.

Life wouldn't be the same without a little fun, and If you've been slacking off in the "fun department" I'd advise you to have some more fun time. Get out with your friends more often, and don't just get out, do something enjoyable. Do something you'd love to do that you haven't tried yet. Participate in an activity you consider to be a lot of fun. Do something you're passionate about. Whatever it is, make sure you're having fun in the process. And make sure you set aside sometime in your day or week to go and do it. Life shouldn't be so serious all of the time, or else you'll only stress yourself a bit too much.
